Dear Customers
Dear Business Partners
After 18 months as Consultant CEO I am pleased to be able to inform you that I have succeeded with the acquisition of IAS.
For those who do not yet know me, please allow me to summarize in a few words my career in the aviation branch. In 1989 I started as project engineer with Lufthansa German Airlines in the engine overhaul business. Following I held senior management positions with the MRO–companies Interturbine Germany, AMECO – Beijing, Lufthansa Airmotive Ireland and MTU Maintenance Hannover and with the OEM companies Goodrich Lighting Systems and Sell GmbH.
IAS will continue with the business for which we are known and respected. At the same time we are actively looking at ways of improving the company and widening the portfolio of services we offer to our customers and partners.
With the acquisition of IAS I appointed Ernst-Helmut Voelz as Manager Finance and Controlling. Ernst will ensure the financial policy of IAS towards customers and business partners is honest, open and ethical - values which are the foundation of IAS and which we all stand for.
Robert Ringsell will continue in his position as General Manager Sales and Engineering and he will ensure that IAS remains true to its targets of delivering the interior components that the customer want on time, on budget and of a quality that is satisfying all norms.
Michael Cutillo, Manager Quality and Logistics, will continue looking after the IAS Quality Management System and the Receiving Centre ensuring that all goods are properly handled to the satisfaction of our consignment partners and customers.
We, the IAS team are looking forward to meeting you at the Aircraft Interiors EXPO in Hamburg in April 2011 or any time at our facilities in Henstedt-Ulzburg.
